My Cat Is Driving Me Nuts!

I am often asked why a cat would do a certain type of behavior that is not conducive to our lifestyle. Improper elimination, jumping on things and breaking them and several more unwanted behaviors. There is always a reason an animal does a certain behavior. They can be frustrated, bored or their territory is being invaded, a no no in the cat world and the biggest culprit of problems.

Cats have curious minds and need to be challenged intellectually. They are a thinking person's pet. Even a compliant cat may not be as happy as they could be. When trying to solve a problem try not to focus on the particular behavior, but get behind what might be causing it. There is a little bit of "pet psychic" in all of us if we really want to tap into it. And no one knows your pet like you do.  Once you understand how your cat is thinking it will be easier to solve.
